My name is Mindyann (Mindy) Meadows. I have been an Orientation and Mobility Specialist
(O&M) since 2016. I went to Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Tx for my O&M program. I
have been certified since Jan. of 2022. I am currently going to school for my Teacher of the
Visually impaired degree (TVI). I love serving people from cradle to grave in this beautiful field. I
am co-owner of Bridging the Blind Gap, LLC which serves over 40 school districts in the state of
Indiana and one in Illinois, and served in California during 2023. We are currently serving one
college and many vocational rehabilitation services. My company is growing and continues to
serve and develop new skills to provide services to the population of visually impaired. I believe
in the whole person philosophy. I work on meeting people where they are at along with working
with the consumer towards their goals. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve so many
through schools, colleges, vocational rehabilitation, and babies in our state and community. As
our company continues to grow, I see a community of service providers serving the visual
impaired population to the best of their ability. Through my education and service in the United
States Army, I use my skills and knowledge to provide services to meet the needs of the
consumer.
