For anyone that has been keeping tabs on our things to do area on our home page, you’ll remember a post we made some time ago talking about how you can make things with varying textures for the blind person in your life to check out. Well We have a continuation of this for you but for tomorrows festivities!
What you will need:
- Colored Easter Eggs
- Puff paint
- Patience
- Some great hiding spots!
So here is what we are going to do. First color the easter eggs however you want to. I am sure you can find some great tutorials online to get some cute designs out of them aside from just a single colored egg. Anyway, Search that out and follow each and every step.
Next once those are dried, take your puff paints in different colors and recreate those designs on the eggs. Let dry a second time. These drying steps are crucial to this turning out the best for your loved one or friend. Obviously thats where the patience is key.
Finally make sure and hide those eggs good! Not too good, or 3 months later youll smell a nasty surprise throughout your home…. Ask me how I know… 😉
You can take it one step further – Bonus points: Use the map of your home we also talked about in another activity to help them find the eggs hidden well in places they are not as familiar with!
